  1. It looks like we officially have an Olympic medal chance in women's heptathlon, Xénia Krizsán had a new PB today in Götzis, 6651. It's the current WL and with a similar or better result she should be able to compete for the medal in Tokyo.
  2. Great, clean race (few cautions for an Indy500), with an amazing finish. And it was so good to see so many spectators at a sport event again.
  3. Thanks , you made our job next week easier. Hopefully we won't waste this opportunity.
  4. Kopasz was also defeated in K2, and not even by our current #1 K2 boat (the one that won the quota a few weeks ago) because they skipped the trials to focus on the ECh. Kopasz can't compete in K1 at the ECh and his chances in K2 got worse, he might actually miss the Games as the current World Champion in K1.
  5. Very embarrassing for the to miss any basketball event at the Games, especially considering that they won the World Cup in 2019. Come on , you can qualify, and I am totally not rooting for you to make our job easier in Debrecen. Not at all.
  6. I am feeling good about my prediction, Japan should be a bit stronger than Spain based on the results so far.
  7. btw, I am not sure if I only say this because we lost, but I don't like the OT rule. I would prefer it if they would add 1 more minute and have the same rule for 21 points instead of this "first team to score two more points wins" rule.
  8. Anyway, now I am a supporter of . I hope they will qualify today. I don't want to see them in Debrecen.
  9. Is that from the 3x3 commentator? I think I would be a bit irritated by his style during a traditional Olympic event, but he's perfect for 3x3. A similar style of commentating would also work for me for the other new "urban" disciplines.
  10. We made way too many mistakes... Hopefully we can qualify in Debrecen.
  11. We clearly had the weaker group and we didn't have a "perfect" game so far, your team seemed more sharp against Germany. I think you are the favorites, but it can be really close. It would probably be a more fair outcome if you qualify tomorrow and then we qualify in Debrecen as I feel like both France and Hungary should be in Tokyo. At the very least I can say that we don't deserve the quota if we can't even qualify in Debrecen, you on the other hand got a terrible draw and this is your only chance.

  14. So far we have done what we should for the qualification, but I can't shake the feeling France is stronger than us, we were a bit sloppy in the last few matches. But at least it looks like we might be the favorites for the second tournament if we won't qualify tomorrow.
  15. I think there's a good chance that we will reject our women's C1 200m quota and it will be reallocated. Balla and Takács, our two athletes in women's C2 500m, dominated at the Hungarian trials in C1 200m, so unless one of them doesn't want to compete in C1 at the Games, they will likely take the two Hungarian spots in C1 and we won't need to use our third women's canoe quota. But I think the Hungarian federation won't make this official until June, so this can be a last minute reallocation.
  16. Big upset at the Hungarian trials, Ádám Varga defeated World champion Bálint Kopasz in MK1 1000m. Varga is officially in the Olympic team, and I would be surprised if Kopasz won't find his way into the team, I think both will compete in this event at the Games.
  17. I mean, it's not your fault. Maybe some other users can confirm this quota as well just in case because I am never 100% sure about this, but for me it looks like your athlete is the only one eligible for the quota in the final, so you have already won it.
  18. Yeah... France is really strong. We will need to pull off a miracle in the QF if we get there. It's ridiculous that possibly the Top2 teams of this tournament are in the same group.
  19. Yikes... wtf is happening to Hungarian shooting lately? wins the quota.
  20. and will compete for the quota in men's 50m 3 positions.

  22. After two apparatus it looks like Oiwa will most likely take the third quota: https://www.gymresult.it/live/57eca0e6-bf7f-11eb-b5ee-3cecef2275de
  23. Danuta Kozák and Tamara Csipes were the Top2 in women's K1 500m at the Hungarian Trials, and Hüttner declared that both will compete in this event at the Summer Games. It looks like Hungary will submit two boats in some events.
