  1. Olympic Standings (After Day 2) Men's RS:X - 100 - 116 Women's RS:X - 69 - 226 After a poor first day, New Zealand's woman finished in the top six in all three of her races on the second day. If she keeps this up New Zealand will likely accept the quota. Australia took the lead over New Zealand in the men's event.
  2. Iran (and Afghanistan) are part of "Middle Asia" and will compete there. Apparently both nations will compete in the 2021 Central Asia Games
  3. Senegal has a bunch of chances (canoeing, fencing, judo, table tennis, wrestling) remaining. Congo on the other hand had a good year in 2016 which caused them to go above the tripartite threshold. They'll drop back down for 2024 as they are on pace for 2-4 athletes this year. Cameroon has had bad luck, but they still have a bunch of chances, including football.
  4. 11 year old Hend Zaza defeats 2016 Olympian Mariana Sahakian Don't know the score...
  5. So the finals are... Men's Singles vs. Women's Singles vs. Hopefully the results won't be too hard to find...
  6. Yeah now that Mauritius qualified they are now among the final three non-tripartite African nations without a quota (along with and ) Interestingly enough all three have a chance at qualifying in table tennis later this week (should Cameroon not qualify here)
  7. Forgot they only competed in Sweden in equestrian. Funny enough due to joining the African boycott late in 1976 three of their boxers got to compete in their opening matches before Egypt withdrew.
  8. Yeah, this is going to be their smallest boxing team since 1956 (where they had none). This is ignoring the 1980 games which they boycotted fully.
  9. That's the results for only the Uruguay event, the eight teams to go to Hong Kong are
  10. The men's lightweight and middleweight will guarantee at least one new nation will qualify to the Olympics.
  11. Yeah I was looking at Australia's history. They might take the men's quota if he improves, but I think the women's quota is lost.
  12. Olympic Standings (After Day 1) Men's RS:X - 73 - 77 Women's RS:X - 89 - 135 Should New Zealand get the quotas it will be very likely they will decline them unless they improve a lot.
  13. Not yet. Looking at the rankings they are most likely to go with men's -58kg, men's -80kg, women's -49kg and women's -57kg. Only the men's -68kg has an athlete with a ranking, the other three weight classes do not.
  14. The first semi-finals have been decided, winners will qualify to the Olympics (there's no 3rd place bouts for these events). The others will be decided tomorrow. Women's Featherweight vs. vs. Women's Welterweight vs. vs. Women's Middleweight vs. vs.
  15. One week following the Closing Ceremony of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, the CGF shall issue a medal table that includes results from the Chandigarh 2022 Commonwealth Archery and Shooting Championships, as a further and final legitimate ranking of competing nations and territories from the respective competitions. So the "final official" rankings will essentially be forgotten by the general public. I guess India gets to feel good about their extra medals? Seems like a bit of a slap in the face to all parties.
  16. Semi-finals Men's -68kg vs. vs. Men's -80kg vs. vs. Women's -57kg vs. vs. Women's +67kg vs. vs. Mali with an opportunity to qualify their first athlete
  17. It looks like we'll have to look around facebook and twitter pages to find the results ...
  18. Been looking all day with no luck, hopefully they are out early tomorrow.
  19. Interestingly enough China is leading all nations in terms of hosting different OQT (ignoring events that span multiple nations). They have currently hosted 11 events while Australia and Japan have hosted 10 each. Due to the coronavirus they will be overtaken. Plus Australia has all of those continental qualification events to look forward to with even less competition. Not too surprising, there's not as much competition in Asia to host events while China really wants to host events.
  20. Also it's not entirely for sure Pita will qualify, Papua New Guinea is relatively decent in this sport and Pita has a bit of an injury.
  21. Looks like we are guaranteed at least one nation without quotas will qualify through this tournament.
