  1. Well, this is a depressing story. If you can’t trust a stripper, who can you trust? A Miami stripper has been arrested after allegedly plying a client with tequila during a raunchy lap dance while covertly funneling over $60,000 from his bank accounts. Yannelin Rivera-Bosaw, 34, was one of several dancers who performed for the unwitting victim in a private VIP room at Miami gentlemen's club Playmates last week, police say. The strippers then relentlessly supplied him with tequila shots, until he became so drunk he couldn't stand up to leave, according to the police report. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12204869/Stripper-34-arrested-plying-man-tequila-funneling-62-000-accounts.html
  2. Tons of meets all over Europe this weekend, with several nations having U20 & U23 selections. This one from (the flat bit) looks good for a midsummer Saturday night.
  3. Yet another of those strange sports where lots of people do it for fun, but not many people go into the Olympic event.
  4. Lordy, that’s not good!
  5. Yeah, so probably World Feed comms on just one of each, transmitted to the stream. Then individual nations can add their own comms if want to cover all their badminton players or whatever. Also if there is a huge bench-clearing punch-up on the B Court of the beach handball.
  6. Less interesting than even solo karate?
  7. I’m not so pessimistic - as far as I can see in BBC are not showing anything on mainstream TV - 100% Tennis, Glastonbury etc - just online streaming only. When that happens, they don’t normally enforce the geo-block.
  8. Ah OK & promotion/relegation will work as usual.
  9. Here’s a bump for this if we haven’t already had it. The three athletics divisions. Remember, there are team (as usual) & individual medals. The individual medals are taken across all three competitions, so I can see or Gega picking up medals from Div III. https://www.eurolympic.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/App1_ETCH2023_Grouping.pdf
  10. Looking at it in more detail.....not much. We don't get prelims of archery (never ever have, even at London 2012), shooting prelims or the fencing round robin of Modern Pentathlon. I guess for sports like table tennis, badminton etc there is just one main show court, not every single concurrent match like at the Olympics. Ditto for the beach sports. Otherwise, pretty much the lot.
  11. The updated website is promising multiple simultaneous live broadcasts (as we know not everything is going to be covered live) plus full on-demand replays of everything that has been live, and easy to navigate by sport so....Click on the Programme button to see what is on every day. 12. W Series put out of its misery. Always thought it was a bit of a con, women did the glamorous driving bit, but no women did the difficult "get up at five in the morning and rebuild the suspense system" bit. 17. NM for Guttorsem in the PV!
  18. Race Jury in the U-23 Giro takin’ no sh1t. Thirty-one riders have been disqualified from the Under-23 Giro d'Italia for cheating on stage four. Highlights on D+ at the moment. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cycling/65917150
  19. Depressing that WvN is now 31, has lost so many years.
  20. And last week, this link worked for coverage that was not geo-blocked, so maybe.... Friidrett – I dag kl. 19:55 – Bislett Games – NRK TV
