    There is a real chance that the will be one gold medal behind because McEwen refused to share gold with Kerr xD Both the US and China are heavy favourites to win one gold tomorrow (women's basketball and women's +87kg in weightlifting). China doesn't have any other real gold medal chances, while the US is in two other finals (women's volleyball and women's -76kg in wrestling) and I believe favourite in the women's omnium

    Ko’s gold medal is one of my favourite non-Canadian win of these Olympics (even though it gives our arch rivals a chance to overtake us in the medal table :P ) She’s such a great golfer, and it’s awesome that she has an Olympic gold medal. Olympic golf has been really good in Paris.

    Two things are true at once here: what you said, but also that the IOC has been getting more flexible in how AP athletes can be used.

    I hope this is a widespread change for LA. Just eliminating traveling alternates in team sports and including them in the team, like they did in ice hockey and they did during Tokyo 2020 in a lot of sports.

    I mean, I hate some esports too xD I just feel like most people who say they "hate esports" don't know enough about them to have a strong opinion, because it's such a broad category of disparate things. It's like saying you hate food or that you hate movies.
