  1. Jokic and Nowitzki are both forwards, Doncic is more of a guard. I think that is what he was trying to compare.
  2. With 32 the chance to see a debutant nation becomes very slim but one can always hope a random african team making it or Uzbekistan not choking for once. In south america it will be war with only 5 spots for 9 competitive teams. I still hope Venezuela can grab at least that 5th place this time. In Europe crazy as well because this time there will be one less place. No new nations with reasonable chance. I have a slight hope to see a return from Wales, Ireland, Austria, Norway, Turkey or Ukraine after a long time, but it will require help from the draw.
  3. This is great news, one last competitive world cup before the madness takes over.
  4. Our team becomes the first to qualify for the final four and therefore, for the olympic play-offs (in case they don't win panamerican games). Team still not playing good hockey but a winning machine. No complaints.
  5. It's fine. She has nothing to prove, she already earned the biggest honor a swimmer can achieve. Better to move on, stop suffering and think in other stuff as she is still too young for life. Those who criticize now will be making her homages in 10 years.
  6. It's a different coach. The previous one was too much of a hostage to Messi and his group of 30 year old friends.
  7. The only reason he was called is because Icardi decided to spend 3 months doing nothing at his house while Aguero was scoring goal after goal.
  8. It's worse than that, why Jon wasn't killed as soon as they saw he killed their queen??? Grey worm had lost everything dear to him at that point and was esentially in charge of the kingdom but he still waited for a trial? lol
  9. I'm really pissed off with my guesses because it means the ending was quite predictable. Still, I didn't predict the outcome of the main thing that the show is about, but it was such a wtf decision from the writers that I can't really blame myself.
  10. Game of thrones finale coming in a few hours. My final predictions (let's see how much I can get right):
  11. I simply can't believe the match delpo lost. 6-4 in TB, serve, makes a nice serve, Djokovic gives a weak return perfect for his forehand and... he makes UE. The match was lost right there, then nole wins 3 points in a row to take the set and the 3rd set even though it was just 6-4 you could tell delpo was never going to win from the first point. I love delpo, he gives challenge in every match against the big guys but the reason he still only has 1GS and 1MS other than the injuries is because he loses a lot of these narrow matches after colossal fights.
  12. Finn right now must be the highest level sailing event in the americas but still isn't in the pan am games... Oh well, we still have 49er FX with 5 countries
  13. The british are fine to me, just not the tories. As for their hosting capabilities, this is an outlier I think.
  14. Weird to see the "USA" there instead of EUA or EEUU.
  15. They didn't mention that in the show, it's in the books only. If you see that scene you'll see they omitted that part (on purpose, so they could do anything about her death).
  16. Bernie Sanders got 13 million votes in the primaries of 2016 and the total electors in the final vote was 127 million. That's a good 10% of the people voting "socialist", as you would say.
  17. The scene in front of the gate doesn't make any sense. Why exactly weren't they shooting those big arrows at the dragon that was just sitting right there? Why did Cersei even care about what Tyrion had to say?? She hired an asassin to kill him two episodes ago but now orders the archers to not shoot when he's just in front of her? lol
  18. It is a real place, but I don't know about that fog.
  19. I'm pretty sure we had people in this sport before. And I think it was as recent as 2004 or 2008. Anahi Sosa, Darya Shara, one or both of them qualified, I'm 90% sure.
  20. I care more about her qualifying for Tokyo than about a few possible bronzes in Lima.
  21. Much better than Wikipedia, for this purpose.
  22. Malaysia in. No surprises then. China remains the only other team from this tournament that still has a chance of play-offs.
  23. Very expected to me. Liverpool dominated but Barcelona simply has more decisive players and they are pissed off this season after 3 consecutive Madrid UCL wins. I expect Liverpool to dominate the next match as well but it won't be enough to overcome 3 goal deficit. I know people will remember the Roma game from last year but I feel Barcelona is much more focused this season and also won't understimate the opponent as much.
  24. Think we can see a few debuts in this cup. Especially if, as rumored, there will be a expansion to 48 teams. Some teams I can think of now, other than the hosts themselves South America: (they have a really nice young talented team now). Africa: seem like the closest. Africa is usually unpredictable so who knows. Asia: and maybe if they are asked to share hosting with Qatar as rumored. I don't see chances for a debut in Concacaf, OFC or UEFA ( seems like the closest but don't think they can do it).
  25. Without Firmino I think Barça is taking this leg comfortably 3-1 or 2-0. But at Anfield it will be a different story.
