  1. A lot of events were moved to the first week in 2015 to accommodate multiple world events (World Aquatics, World Archery) etc. The bid book schedule was much more balanced... but then again that was just a bid book. Looking at the schedule from 2015, there is really nothing that could have been moved to the second week because of venue use etc.
  2. @thiago_simoes Jossimar Calvo will miss the games due to injury (won 3 gold at Toronto 2015).
  3. The stadiums all look great. They remind me of Guadalajara 2011's venues.
  4. Archery will be held at the rugby stadium @vinipereira
  5. 48!! countries will be competing. all making their debuts. Sadly, this will be the last worlds with this many teams. A max 20 can qualify from next year onward.
  6. Diving Quotas +8 +8 +8 +8 +8 +8 +8 +5 +3 +5 +2 +1
  7. I don't know the schedule, just an idea (as of December 2018) of which sports are planned to be broadcast.
  8. Rhythmic is scheduled to be shown live afaik!
  9. Yea a lot of sports missed out on in live broadcasting. It was probably the worst thing about the games. Only a few sports were broadcast live. IIRC for ex Argentinian tv had to produce handball finals, they also had the worst angle for canoeing etc.
  10. IIRC the latter two were not "live produced" by the host broadcaster. Rhythmic was done by Brazilian tv, but I guess there was no tv stream for trampoline, IDR.
  11. Official song, with scenes from Toronto 2015, brings back a lot of memories and its hard to believe it was 4 years ago.
  12. I think she retired. She didn't compete at the qualifiers.
  13. Clearly they don;t know the rules of Panamsports lol. Hopefully he can compete as part of Aruba if anything.
  14. Good job hopefully this is the start of something big!
  15. has only competed in track and field, I doubt they qualify in any other sport. has an outside shot in judo. and will likely have a shot in tennis (through a wild card). Grenada will also likely get a triathlon wild card. was the only country not to get a rowing wildcard sadly. will only compete in athletics.
  16. They also have a rowing quota as well which i confirmed with the CX.
  17. Taekwondo wild cards @vinipereira +1 +1 +1 +1 +1 +1 +1 +1 +1
  18. When I spoke to my contact, they said Brazil qualified but when I asked for a detailed list, Brazil wasn't included
  19. Skateboarding quotas (confirmed with the CF) @vinipereira +4 +4 +4 +4 +3 +2 +2 +2 +2 +1 +1 +1 +1 +1

  23. They will go, but they need to fund themselves ofc. The decision obviously lies with the women likely having no chance to qualify for Tokyo...
