  2. I wonder how many editions we will see until we have a non European winner
  3. Congrats Britain and @uk12points !! Sorry @OlympicIRL to be the one to cut your hopes of a third victory

  7. Anyone with a cristal ball/mind reading/the gift of prophecy dare to know what happens next? BTW, I'm sorry I could not give points to more than 12 songs... Good luck everyone!
  8. Well, I guess Britain is hoping that there's no repeat from first contest...
  9. Well it's only noon for me, so instead of tea I'll grab a cold beer.
  10. Thank you @intoronto First points for Mexico after the break!! I hope they're not the last ones
  11. GARBIÑE!! Excellent feat for her, I hope she keeps improving... right now she deserves to enjoy the RG title and No. 2 ranking
  12. Just keeping up with the contest. I'm a little dissapointed by the performance of the Mexican song. Guess choosing a Grammy winner (and the only decent original song from a Mexican artist) is enough... I pray for a better result in the end (and a gold medal for the first time ever). On another topic, let's see who among Spanish American countries do it best, right now we're so close to one another Meanwhile congrats Britain and the rest of the top 5. Also want to thank everyone who voted for Mexico so far @Wanderer @Werloc @kungshamra71 @bestmen Brazilian jury
  13. You're probably right. I can't find a team that is above everyone else right now; probably the usual suspects will advance to knock-out round and from there, things could actually get interesting
  14. To say the least... everyone but US federation knows its time for Klinsmann to let go the national team; the result only reflects the poor form of the Americans, as Colombia is also struggling to show the level they had in the last World Cup.
  15. but what are they trying to prove? I mean, it's obvious that they should have demolished poor Venezuela, but they have been playing like they only want to make it through with the minimum effort.
  16. I just was reading about it... may one of the greatest boxers RIP!
  17. Wow, couldn't see the complete openning ceremony, but I'm more impressed by your work @hckosice The dances, the lovely castles, and above all, too see a little bit of a country with such natural beauty, unspoiled... I envy those views (specially the snowed peaks, I don't see it often around here). And the top on an amazing ceremony, to hear @Werloc perform his beautiful music! What an excellent idea, I hope we could see more of this in future editions. Good luck to everyone tomorrow morning!
  18. Thank you. They really need it tonight... after a disaster first set (with referee's aid at some points), the Mexicans played real good in the second one, only to once again give a dismal show in the last one. I hope they improve their game tomorrow against Tunisia, or else the team that is going to Rio is Chile (no offense to anyone, but Algeria is no real threat for the other three teams, but I could be wrong). On another news, Australia just made things more interesting in the Tokyo qualifier, earning 3 points against China after a 3-1 victory.
  19. Wow, congrats to the Chilean volley team... they easily defeated Tunisia 3-0... so maybe there will be surprises in the intercontinental tournament
  20. Wonderful pening ceremony! A great job by hckosice!! I'd love to visit Slovakia someday, I loved the landscapes and the architecture.
  21. Sadly not on this time, however I'm confident they will update results as soon as they can on the federation's page. Some athletes from countries in Central American and the Caribbean are also competing, trying to obtain the criteria
