What happened to Javelin programme though? In recent past you had world class athletes like Rohler , Vetter , Hofmann .. Tbh Deutschland don't have any super star in athletics at present, maybe be Mihambo but she is injured. Perhaps the federation will put more effort to scout new talents and change their approach to coaching like the ⚽️ team did after the disaster Euro 2000

Parul created history by setting a new NR in 3000m SC clocking 9:15:31 & also achieving OQS . Our relay boys clocked sub 3:00:00 timing again ,finishing 5th in the 4*400 final. A very pleasing world championships, by record our best ever!

Lost among all this we got an exceptional result today in 3000m SC(W) Parul Chaudhary broke our NR from 2016 with a superb time of 9:15:31 thus also achieving the OQS & qualifying for Paris games. Our 15th Quota ( 8 in athletics) She has been working really hard in Colorado Springs for the past few months. Credit to her coaches .

Our Javelin programme has really taken off thanks to Chopra winning that 🥇in Tokyo Olympics. We have 5-6 throwers throwing above 80m. We had 3 in top6 of a world championships!! Is that a minor record too? Makes you wonder what results in world/olympic stage can do for your sports! Now sponsors are easy to get to promote Javelin among youths. Neeraj though has done everything the hard way with pure talent aided by quality coaching. He is now the reigning World & Olympics champion in Javelin

Ok it seems your commentator was partly correct but he mixed up things. The news from the Indian media team at Budapest is that an official protest was filed by the Indian team against a push/shove by Robinson (USA) on Ramesh (IND) in the last lap of the relay. There is video-graphic evidence of the same doing rounds in social media. However the jury rejected the appeal by the Indian team . I believe this is what your commentator wanted to say but mixed things up!

HS Prannoy with an amazing win against Axelsen & into the SF now. Unfortunately our Men’s Doubles pair lost to

WFI is currently serving suspension due to not holding election on time. Our wrestlers will be allowed to participate under UWW flag but will they be eligible for olympic quotas ? As the quotas are assigned to NOC and not to players.

Why did Kaul retire after clearing 2.02m ? Did he get injured or was it tactical? He certainly could clear 2.05m.

What happened to Kazmirek ? Is he now behind Eitel for the 3rd spot? I personally always enjoy watching Decathlon/heptathlon , they add something extra from a viewing perspective than a normal field event. The joy of always calculating points after each event is unmatched!

Neeraj Chopra 88.77 not only qualifies to the final by breaching the qualification mark but also achieves OQS in Javelin Throw(M). He secures our 14th quota overall ( 7th in Athletics)

Wow, another quota place for us and in shotgun! Rajeshwari Kumari gets the 4th quota for us in this championships & 7th quota in shooting overall . Brilliant return from the 2 world championships (7 quota places) . We still have the Asian championships in Oct to increase our tally.

That was a really close match, will go into the world qualification tournament.

Adarsh Singh just missed out on a quota on inner 10s . Small margins! Hopefully we can get the quota in asian championships
