  1. There is a difference between Olympics and Commonwealth games. Olympics is more of a prestige issues , kind a soft power for powerful nations whereas Commonwealth games is.. well absolutely useless. They might as well do away with it. Olympics and continental games are sufficient!
  2. With Neeraj competing in Monaco Diamond league this Friday (21st). We should hit double digits , with one year of Olympics left. Looking good ๐Ÿ˜Š

  5. 2.33 seems awfully tough standard for High Jump (Men) . I guess most will qualify via world rankings than achieving the high Standard set by WA.

Conditions were far from ideal, he clocked a time of 8:21:88 in 3000SC With qualification for Olympics officially open for all Track & Field events from 1st July 2024, he was the first Indian athlete to compete.

  19. Are these quotas given to athletes or NOC in canoeing? If they are given to NOCs then every athlete will still have a chance to represent his/her sport in Olympics. That only seems fair.
