Top moment #5 Leander Paes Bronze medal 🥉 in Lawn Tennis Singles(M) in Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games. This was our first Olympic medal of any colour since the 1980 Olympics. Special mentions must go to our Hockey teams(men) winning multiple gold medals 🥇 in different editions of the games, but all were before 1994 olympics hence they are not listed in MY top 5 moments for my Country INDIA. 😀

But Musiala will be a big player for them in the coming years. He just needs to add goals to his game. With Probably Sane, Gnabry , Musiala, Havertz & Wirtz playing in 2026 . They have strong core group to build on this disappointment. But first they need to find a replacement for Klose . That is one area they having lacking since 2014. DFB dont normally sack managers , think Flick will get another chance with this team for Euro 2024 at home.

Yes absolutely Azmoun is not fully fit to last 90mins yet. Maybe if you want 2 up top start with Ansarifad and then bring on Azmoun for last 30 mins. I like your LB who came on late in the game Jalali I think, he is really hard working. As for Taremi , it is unfair to expect him to do all alone. He has quality players at Porto who supports him. Him and a fully fit Azmoun would have scored goals . A lot of your players might retire now.

This was Iran’s best chance to get out of group stage. Shame they wasted it playing negatively and going for a draw. I was expecting IRAN to qualify, possibly only Asian team with a realistic chance . Looks like no asian team this in Knockout stage.

Looks like Azmoun has not recovered 100% yet. IRan need a goal and he is taken off. Taremi has do it alone now.

Holland vs Qatar was so boring, as if it was a friendly or a training session. The dutch were not interested to score beyond those 2 goals. Well as for Qatar, worst record as hosts with no points and just a single goal. They are playing not on merit but by default as hosts.

Mexico & Uruguay might still score , not sure about Tunisia. But if they do score all 32 teams would have scored at least 1 goal in this world cup. Has that ever happened before in a 32 team WC? Also we just lost 2 teams (one being Qatar) & 3 have secured qualifications, still 27 teams has a mathematical chance for qualification.

Amazing from Iran . They thoroughly deserve that win. I hope Azmoun can play next match, they will need him. Him and Taremi forms a formidable front 2.

Argentina 🇦🇷 are right back in this. Poland 🇵🇱 and Mexico 🇲🇽 were so poor, neither team looked like they wanted to win today. I personally expected more from Polska . I still hope they make it out of the group but they need to improve massively.

Ecudor played it safe in the 2nd half, it was more of a friendly/training session for them in the 2nd half. Makes you wonder , would Qatar have qualified on merit was it not for hosting the WC? $$$$ talks!
