    Women’s lacrosse team defeats Great Britain in a thriller, 14-10! 2-0! Donnecke/Gilbert start off their mixed doubles disc golf group stage with a 4-4 tie against Norway.

    Yeah, I think I’d want to try it sometime. I love disc sports, I used to play ultimate back in elementary school and I loved it. It also helped that I was the best player on my team and we won the championship

    So Loeppky isn’t on it, not surprising at all.. his wife is pregnant and is due in fall so it makes sense that he’s taking the time off. Scwarc and Hoag are back, which is great! But I see no Sclater? And Eshenko/Demyanenko aren’t on it either, surely even if their game has downgraded during the club season they’re better than some of the youngsters we have? (and they haven’t retired) I miss Maar.

    Men’s softball team defeats Australia 11-2 to start 1-0!

    Oh yeah that’s right and Chinese Taipei are good too, I completely forgot about that. Weird that they aren’t showing up in the world rankings, but I guess that goes to show you can’t always trust them.

    beat 4-3 in men’s in-line hockey! Don’t see them in the rankings anywhere, so I’m pretty sure that’s an upset Edit: Ignore me.

    My dumbass seemed to have forgot that there’s a 6 inning minimum rule for softball, because I was wondering why the fuck the players left the field early

    These basemen are missing so many easy catches, how the hell did they manage to qualify? It’s like watching a little league team play (ok not that bad, but still…)

    That’s indeed correct, he’s now the #2 all-time Canadian 3:36.07 for Max Davies as well, about a second off his PB but still a solid time for him.

    91.00 for Luiz Mauricio Da Silva in men’s javelin throw at the Brazilian Championships, new South American record! He also had a 90.68m throw!

    Women’s lacrosse team defeats Japan 20-5 in pool play to start 1-0.

    defeats 20-5 in their opening match of women’s lacrosse pool play. Japan’s first goal of the second half was only with 25 seconds left to go in the game. Looks to me like the Canadian team was conserving their energy and saving their legs for their remaining matches, the intensity wasn’t there.
