    When I first heard of life saving, I have to admit I thought the athletes had to “rescue” the manikins from the ocean or a pool (either with all the lane ropes taken out and done individually or the lane ropes in and done as a race) in the fastest time, but apparently it’s just swimming with a manikin

    Saw the WG medal design for the first time earlier today on their IG page, it’s a lot with designs inside and outside of it, but it’s cool I like it First time I’ve seen a medal at a multi-sports event that opens up

    Really great match so far between Switzerland and Sweden, crowds really getting their money’s worth. 3-2 over after one period of play.

    Well this match is getting away from quickly… It’s like these guys have forgot how to catch and run this inning. 1-6 down with 4 of those runs being in the 5th inning, guess we’ll be taking on for bronze.

    Every time I see the word “manikin” mentioned I keep thinking you carry a man in a mankini during the event Which of course isn’t the case, but still, if they had it as mannequin the confusion definitely could’ve been avoided

    After four innings in the men’s softball semifinals, with a narrow 2-1 lead over and demolishing 6-0.

    Crazy coincidence because me and @Olympian1010 have also played disc sports, although ultimate for us I’ve actually really loved watching the disc golf action. A few days ago, I had yet to watch a disc golf match and had no idea how it worked. I ended up watching their first match and the quarterfinals and I absolutely loved it, hope World Games includes the individual events in future editions.

    Bronze for Vegard Jarvis Westergård (his name sounds Danish or Norwegian, so I’m assuming some ancestry from there) in men’s orienteering, our first ever medal in orienteering and our first medal of the games!

    Men’s softball team came all the way back from down 1-7 against Singapore (not sure how we got in that position to begin with) to book a ticket to the semifinals!

    A lot of the sports don’t have their qualification system out yet, I’ll share when all of them get released.
