    Prevc got hosed in R1 by lowering the gate but came back so his chase of consecutive World Cup win streak is still alive (again). Naito didn't make it from Japan due to a flight delay but he should be on start list tomorrow. Nikaido is stuck in Dubai due to closed air space in wake of US attack on Iran so he's out for the event.

    Big favorite Lozbers won the Youth Individual 12.5km despite 3 misses. Silver for Tarasiuk and bronze for Dzhorgov who beat Madelenat only by 0.2!

    Aicher storms to take the lead in the Soldeu Super G. Brignone made some mistakes and probably out of Top 10 here.

    Papszun took over in December when Legia was in 17th place already. Edward Iordanescu started the season and former player Inaki Astiz was a caretaker for two months. This duo combined for a club record 12 match winless streak that dropped Legia to relegation zone. The club's previous worst streak was 11 matches in 1966

    Yes, that's Haaland's cousin Braut Brunes. If he has a bad day Raków is usually scrapping for 1-0 victory unless they concede a goal. Ivi Lopez is the playmaker but he's not as sharp since an injury last season. Lech & Jagiellonia are the two strongest clubs right now, Raków probably #3. I discount league surprises and of course Legia which is stuck in relegation zone

    Fiorentina gets another club Raków Czestochowa in R16 Raków manager Marek Papszun moved to Legia lately and the club is slightly less demanding than Jagiellonia IMO. They're unlikely to score more than 1-2 goals in a game even in our league but have a better defense.

    Jagiellonia almost pulled a huge comeback upset on Fiorentina. Lost 0-3 at home but still forced extra time in Italy before winning 4-2 and going out. The last Polish club to eliminate an Italian club in KO phase was Wisła Kraków vs Parma in 2002 UEFA Cup (1-2, 4-1).

    Automatic Ball Strike system comes into effect this season. Teams receive two challenges per game but only pitchers, catchers & players at-bat can use it.

    Tommaso Giacomel underwent a heart ablation procedure following his Olympics MS incident and will probably miss remainder of the season.

    Short track in European night sessions (and no simultaneous figure skating) probably helped the comments (as much as those Canadian and the mayhem during the actual races). Alpine skiing in European mornings probably meant most users could only see the 2nd runs for technical events?

    4 has exceeded expectations but speed skating still underperformed + nobody over here predicted Tomasiak getting 3 medals that inflated the count.

    Brignone's Super G & giant slalom redemption. Probably cements her as #2 female all-time behind Compagnoni. Many good speed skating events and obviously biathlon as a whole.

    On the contrary I did much better in the second week compared to a rather poor start (some alpine skiing & ski jumping upsets & less predictable snowboard/freestyle skiing cost me). Thx @clemsonbeavfor counting all the data!
