WA completely lost the plot with all the changes and funnily enough race walking impacts T&F very little since it's always held in the morning and doesn't influence the more important stadium events. The new marathon distance is a joke since they could have easily maintained the classic 50km but oh well, it's not the first time white collars have no clue what's going on. At least they clamped down on the Semenyas and Mbomas so that's a small price to pay.

Yeah, 1999 was Szaranowicz & Babiarz for TVP. Rudziński was with Eurosport back then already IIRC (he moved from TVP in mid 90s).
