    Bad day for Blue Jays. The last guy in the Dodgers bullpen aka Will Klein threw over 70 pitches and they had Yamamoto warming up for the 19th inning? Crazy game that will surely go into MLB postseason lore.

    Found this on YT. The guy really sucks hehe. Btw, I never heard "Vashco" being pronounced like that. And I watched Vasco games with original commentary before.

    Yes, very bad though historically the home & away legs are remembered more. The most mocked defeat is probably Wisla Kraków losing to Levadia Tallinn on aggregate (one season after beating Barcelona 1-0 with basically the same core).

    Julia Simon admitted in court to stealing Braisaz's & team physio credit cards. She was given a 3 month suspended sentence, 15k euro fine and has to pay all of Braisaz's legal costs. That ends the criminal case but let's see what happens with the French federation and so on.

    PHL will be 9 teams strong again. Polonia Bytom bought the wild card after Podhale Nowy Targ reached a new rock bottom last season (winning one out of 50 games) and didn't bother to enter in 2025/26 season.

    Rose Bowl was a Top 10 stadium by capacity back then and most of the biggest outdoor stadiums in USA belong to the filthy rich private universities anyway. Yeah, I remember how the crossbar broke. Marcelino Bernal was the player who broke the thing but they quickly replaced it. I remember how amazed I was since nobody really had any clue how it works over in Europe (where admittedly it probably never happened since they phased out the wooden posts ).

    Will FIFA re-name SoFi for World Cup (since it's not an official FIFA sponsor?). In 1994 they did play WCup matches at NFL stadiums (Soldier Field and RFK in Washington off the top of my head).

    Isn't 'making contact' the phased out part of the game in the analytics world these days? Padres got Arraez and it ended for them as usual, or even worse given they got bounced in the wild card round.

    I didn't watch as many MLB games this season but Blue Jays turning into a powerhouse only months after they could have blown this roster up is quite a story. I don't think Yankees gave up 10+ runs in back-to-back games in the postseason that often?

    So beat both and so far. I wonder how many of their players come from these Dutch youth academies (obviously that would be the right choice and Morocco could be set up for years as the new African powerhouse).
