  1. Mao only held off Zheng by 2.4 secs for silver.
  2. Not much luck for Tottenham again and they're in the laughing stock territory
  3. Top 5 for Two seasons they couldn't avoid penalty loops and now they do it in b2b races Apparently this 16th place is the WORST result ever for women relay (previously 12th).
  4. Pirovano takes the lead by 0.01... again Bad day for Aicher and probably outside of Top 10...
  5. Nogal-Ziomek in 4th place so the OG trend continues...
  6. is the first new nation on ski jumping World Cup podium since December 1987 (back then Staffan Tallberg). Prior to that in 1982 (Massimo Rigoni). Adding as Germans, Slovenians under and Russians under that makes a total of 17 nations on the podium. And only four of them after the second season ever (1980/81). That includes Josef Samek as Czech since the first Czechoslovakian podium ever was from a Slovak (Jan Tanczos) @hckošice
  7. Hold the phone! Prevc DQ for skis too long by 1 cm. Forget about those records then (for the time being). So Zografski gets his maiden podium after all
  8. Domen Prevc wins the one round Ruka makeover in Lahti. That clinches the Six Pack Grand Slam only Matti Nykanen has accomplished in ski jumping before. Also sets the new World Cup consecutive wins record (seven). Zografski ties a career-best finish in 4th.
  9. Lozbers 7 misses but still takes silver in Mass Start Dzhorgov gold (1 miss).
  10. Pirovano beats Aicher by 0.01 in Val di Fassa DH!
  11. I think Fialkova is 2nd on the World Cup all-time list for most podiums without a win. Olena Petrova still leads there and Marie-Laure Brunet is 3rd IIRC but I need to check that.
  12. Adam Małysz said today that from what he's heard "around the block" Nordic Combined won't be axed from OG
  13. 3 Slovakians in Top 40 so they're up to 10th in Nations Cup ahead of Poland
  14. Maryna Gąsienica-Daniel suffered ACL strain in the Soldeu Super G and has also ended her season.
  15. Anning is not here but the new 400 meters format is (2x final heats of 4 athletes each, combined times decide podium). Natalia Bukowiecka absolutely blasted it and I guess that's a popular feeling among athletes
  16. Jeanmonnot barely clings on to take the individual globe by 2 pts from Magnusson. Fichtner's surprise 5th place with bib #57 basically decided that. If Magnusson finished 5th she'd take the globe.
  17. 1-2 for Elvira & Hanna... Batovska-Fialkova should hang onto the podium after she gained time on Vobornikova on the last lap.
  18. Stephan Embacher makes history by winning the Junior World title for the third time! Kuttin & Ahonen won it twice before too. Silver for Tomasiak and bronze for Colby. Kapustik in 7th place @hckošice
  19. Traubaite & Kapustova 20/20!!!
  20. Women's individual in Kontiolahti about to start!
  21. Anezka Indrackova becomes Junior World Champion in Lillehammer beating defending champion Midtskogen. Bronze for Sofia Mattila. Kira Maria Kapustikova in 6th place @hckošice Pola Beltowska in horrendous 39th place and Frączek in 49th only beating a girl who had a fall Caroline Chor would have made Top 30 but sadly DQ.
  22. Inka Hamalainen & 17yo Sydney Wuestling complete the podium behind Volfa. Josie Clifford in 12th place in the Junior sprint @Grassmarket
  23. Strakova wins the Youth sprint, Volfa wins the Junior sprint.
  24. vs 2-2. If not for our keeper's mistake we could have - and should have - won it. Doesn't look promising for Dutch, same old squad for some years and only getting older.
  25. Madelenat missed the bronze in Youth sprint by 0.1 So he missed two medals by combined 0.3...
