  1. Wait what. When did Liberia win gold? I'm sure I saw it was Malaysia
  2. A couple of relays shouldn't be an excuse for the entire sport. As I told before I'll never understand the craze for this trash, I mean I also hate ice hockey but still it has something that can be watched, swimming has never fascinated me before and is not expected to be any different. That's my personal opinion But I do love lifesaving as a sport any day.
  3. They had few good players and it worked. West indies hosted U19 Women's Regional Tournament this month. won the tournament without breaking a sweat. Finished 2nd.
  4. Even in events which are very close there's no real need to watch the race. It's just plain action . Tell me a sport with 10+ gold medals that is less diverse than swimming. Action is important in sport, which should be diverse or at least not have too many events for the same. Team sports, Racquet Sports, Martial Arts, Ball Sports and even modern pentathlon and skateboarding you can watch, swimming there's nothing really to watch. Just swim swim swim. Events in swimming are same like having Pool at the games - snooker,3ball,5ball, 6 ball, 7 ball, 9 ball 10 ball for men and women.
  5. Swimming should be capped at multi sport events including Olympics something like this : 100m - all 4 strokes 50mFree 400m Medley 1500m 4*100 free 4*100 medley Open water 10km It may not happen but that would be my dream games with less trash. 20 golds are more than enough for a sport which offers nearly no action.
  6. Was trying to watch swimming after a long time . Trust me I'll never be able to understand the craze for swimming in other nations. It's just sooo boring and repetitive. No real action whatsoever. I even enjoy lawn bowls or even netball more than swimming.
  7. I don't think I have seen a worse view for a TT game.
  8. Extremely poor streaming of table tennis.
  9. How many lawn bowls matches will be live in a session at a time ?

  11. So it's finally time for the CWG. Just like any multi sport event I'm excited this time too. Performance wise 15-20 golds are expected for India. The games will be streamed in 6 channels in 4 different languages. No random WWE or any series of Men's Cricket (suprising coz it's the 1st time in history of Indian cable that indian men's cricket matches are not available in any private channel largely since timings in west indies was not suitable and may have hindered a smooth streaming of CWG) I'm personally excited to watch sports which I otherwise don't watch apart from multi sport games - 3x3, beach volleyball, rugby sevens, triathlon, table tennis, cycling, squash, lawn bowls and weightlifting
  12. Yup saw that but I have no idea of the Anguillan so will wait.
  13. Ok the choice of para athletics events look awful heavily in favour of the hosts. I would have prefered having F64 Javelin Men not because we won gold at paralympics but because top athletes are all from commonwealth nations. Would have been a super exciting event with having 6 athletes in top 10 including 4 in top 4 . The discuss event in men and women meanwhile has just 1-2 British athletes in top 10.
  14. Massive massive opportunity for to win it's 1st ever medal in Mens Heavy weight. It'll be a V QF. Niue have a medal at the pacific games from the same category albeit with a different boxer. Cook Islands didn't win any boxing medal last time. Their sending a 18 year old here so don't know if he's really good or is it just a exposure trip. Either way in worst case Cook island will match their 2018 tally but should not be suprising to see Niue win their first medal ever.

  16. Near impossible. Except freestyle all other events have only 100 and 200m events only. Just can't see her shelving 6-7s in 100m or 13-15s in 200m. More than being happy at the performance it's dissapointing to see the level of Indian Swimming.
  17. 18C is like winter temperature for us. People of Delhi may be furious reading that considering it 40-50C in Summer. So what about winter in Ireland ? -10? -5?
  18. I always used to think Europeans are lucky to get cool temperatures and lots of snow. Now I feel where I live is better.. 24-29 in Rainy season, 18-26 in winter, 27-34 in Summer with only few exceptions on some days like 1 or 2 per year when it's 35-36 and an Air Quality Index of 2-5 throughout the year. And of course the beaches, lakes ,rivers and lots of greenary .
  19. It's difficult to lose 2-3s in 50m events cuz it's like 7-8s for the shortest distance. Other events it's possible. Then we hear 17-18 year old winning world championships or finishing top 30.
  20. Good only from national level. Need to cut down 3-4s in 50m, 6-8s in 100m and 10-12s in 200m events to be in top 50 of the world. Infact in 200m breastroke 15-17s need to be shelved. Can't see it happening.
  21. She was aweful so was her opponent to whom she lost . Too bad our fencer couldn't beat the German in what was a close match.
  22. Her first name is Rhythm actually and surname Sangwan. She's just called Rhythm anyhow
