  1. IOC session 2023 will be held in Mumbai, India where the 2030 Winter Games could be officially awarded.
  2. Congrats on the victory. I couldn't watch the entire match, the first time I tuned in Slovakia netted a goal thanks to that lucky deflection, watched for 5 minutes and I felt Slovakia will win it. I mean I don't follow the sport closely but I still don't get why do you always try to jinx everyone. I mean even in the qualifiers u did it. So from here on be optimistic start telling ' Slovakia is the gold medal favourites in ice hockey in 2026, no one can beat us, we will win at least 5 golds, we are a big country etc etc '
  3. Yeah I know it was a joke But tell me one thing did you ever think the puck was way too small at any point in the life
  4. Well are the world champions in women's hockey, the normal one. In ice hockey , the boring form of hockey, where all players crash into others every now and then for the tiny puck which sometimes needs a magnifying glass to be watched on television, they aren't too bothered you know.
  5. No issues but I like it. Instead of having a points race like in mass start it's better to have a separate points race. Maximum long track events should be mass start format with quarters semis and finals (no sprints though) really nice to watch.
  6. I think Speed Skating can have separate mass start and points race and maybe leave 1500m . Two short distance(500,1000) , 1 pursuit, 2 long distances then 1 mass start and 1 points race. I also don't mind if 1 of the long distance events is left off instead of 1500m.
  7. I think we should have had a 50km race. It didn't look that cold and windy throughout the race at all.
  8. The wind has picked up again I think safe to say the event is done will win
  9. I am happy with the delay won't mind a delay by another hour or so. That would really ensure there will be some action throughout the day instead of an hour of nothing
  10. Honestly I didn't like figure skating before the games started but ended up watching a lot, and yeah Figure Skating is way way better than gymnastics honestly. As far as Kamila is considered I genuinely hope she'll not get any ban. TMZ has extremely minimal effect in healthy children and one can argue if she was at least 18 years (maybe even 17) At 15 years I'm not going to listen to anyone who says she is guilty, because those who do don't really know anything but are speaking in air. Even if someone had to dope they wouldn't want to take a drug whose side effects are vertigo ,dizziness and visual disturbances coz that really causes a problem in a sport like figure skating which requires multiple twists and turns .
  11. That's total rubbish. Glad you will never be heard and the rule will never come. I'm all ok with 15 years as minimum.
  12. Have a feeling Won't win both for sure. Hopefully they win neither. Sola is one of the fastest skiiers but if she can shoot even 18/20 it'll be enough for a medal.
  13. Ukraine wants to host winter Olympics in future so this medal was required
  14. Choi finally wins gold in these games So happy for her. Was hoping for this result or at worst that Schulting doesn't win gold so this is perfect. Kikuchi Someone give her a medal. skaters forgetting that race was over will be remembered for years lol.
  15. Pretty close to my prediction . Ida Lien was kinda sure that she'll not be on penalty loop but would have been ideal . Knotten didn't let the team down. But Penalty Loop Queen Eckhoff made it for their good performances.
  16. What a joke, Germany will be in top 5 at worst and yeah those bronze medals no longer change your position now.
  17. I'm expecting a lot from Knotten tomorrow If she can somehow have one or two penalty loops they would be at least 3mins behind the leader hopefully some top nation. Then Eckhoff will ski fast but be on penalty loop at least once, Ida Lien maybe a few spare rounds and ideally 1 penalty loop with slow skiing hopefully then followed by Roiseland who will have too much to make up.. If things go according to this tomorrow we will have interesting race.
  18. Germany is winning too many golds in sliding sports, keep some for smaller nations
  19. French and Norwegians liking the pursuit for sure . I agree with @FancyFenchel may be a separate 6km sprint qualification at least for world championships, olympics or as alternate they can follow world team challenge idea . They can use same sprint for pursuit but decrease the gaps by half resulting in more even field.
  20. IBU is working on different formats for Super Sprint I just hope it replaces this event where medals are based on performance of some other event
  21. As expected results.... Had Sola missed one less in sprint she'd have been on podium , pretty quick today, hopefully in mass start
  22. Thanks! But I am actually cheering for Norway to miss today I'm just sick of their domination but I'm afraid the ski speed isn't there. The 2nd fastest in women's sprint will start 1:52 behind so no chance
  23. I'll chose Roiseland and JT Boe since the event didn't start. As far as voting times are considered the poll was published at midnight and deadline ended early morning here
