I don't plan to waste my time on that. But yeah even with the non Eueopean explaination given it's still way below par sport. Maybe cricket can call itself to be more competitive globally even if you remove expat countries from the list.

Rowing has to be one of the least competitive sports to be part of Olympics. Europeans might not like it but yeah it should be cut down to just 4 or 5 events per gender. Surely over 100 non Olympic sports exist which have a more competitive field than rowing.

Is it just me who is reminded of the holy ciborium (the vessel used for keeping the Eucharist) seeing the logo. Feels like it's a church event rather than a sports event!

Happy with the gold. But I don't think it'll be easy for gold in Paris for Neeraj unless he improves further to 90+. A NR in steeplechase for Parul was good. Long jumpers have been dissapointing. Not entirely happy with the overall performance.

That was an exciting women's relay to end reversing the 1st final event of the championship

Not a great championship to be honest. Really failed miserably in pistol events with no quotas. Rifle was good with 3/4 quotas. Anything less than 2 golds and 5 medals in Olympic events was always bad. It's good to have something like that now so that expectations will be less next year. 50m3P is our pet event now in both genders. One of the other big event is women's 10m Air Rifle where we won bronze courtesy Mehuli Ghosh and missing in quota due to 1 per nation rule, Tilottama Sen at 4th place, the 15 year old. Expecting both to make it to Paris next year through trials. 10m Air Rifle Women is the first event at the games which will decide our shooting teams as well as entire country's Olympic performance.

Any streaming for the event? If someday I feel bored with nothing to watch I might just watch some action

At least people complain about Sailing should be at the games or not. I don't think so most people even care to open the modern pentathlon thread to comment about it, shows how many are really interested in the sport.

Swimming and Rugby streams are better. Beach volleyball with no live scoreboard is an off.
