  1. Since you are a foreigner, they're asking you to appoint some Indonesian - naturally it would be me - to do the paperwork instead. But I don't think they even know Totallympics exists in the first place, so just rest assured
  2. In an attempt to further "control" the internet, Indonesian government are forcing digital service providers to register on government database (and give government even more rights to order removal of any contents they don't like) and threaten to block basically everything on the Internet if they didn't comply 20 July. The definition of "digital service providers" in this messed-up regulation is a person/entity who owns a system that includes payment/transaction or process personal information. Millions of websites obviously fall in this category and basically the government is demanding the whole net to register. So if @Sindodoesn't register to the Information Ministry by 20 July, this forum will be blocked in Indonesia Of course this is clearly a scare tactic in hopes of extorting tax from foreign tech giants and has always been proposed by the stupid minister for the last 2 years, but this is the first time they actually set a deadline. Interesting to see what will happen in 4 days So far only two popular international services have registered: Tiktok and Spotify.
  3. I was told a highlight of wushu competitions will be shown on the daily highlights, patiently waiting 17 minutes before being able to see the wushu pictogram only to find 10 seconds later the video suddenly skips to the TV opening sequence before showing the second part of the highlights. Amazing luck indeed for wushu fans. And IWUF just busy showing Olympic Champion 1976 flirting with the athletes. Might as well go outside and slap people for no reason to join the madness
  4. I only saw Sport climbing 14 July - 06.00-07.15 local time I will be glad if I was told that I visited the wrong page/read the wrong info
  5. Hmmm just looked at the stream schedule and it seems that the speed climbing finals tomorrow won’t be live too?
  6. Yeah, but the Indonesian national team IG is streaming right now. And is in good position to win their first gold (and medal)
  7. @Olympian1010any insider information on Wushu stream? I don’t see it on the schedule and USAWKF is only giving me answer templates
  8. Olly Hogben? I guess I just don’t suit his style then lol
  9. The sumo bouts are quite interesting but I wish I could watch the one without commentary… It’s not like there are a lot of rare kimarite (winning move) but it’s better to hear the official anouncement rather than the commentator trying to guess the kimarite and say nothing afterwards
  10. We only just passed the half of 2022 and we should get ready to throw away the dream of securing gold from sport climbing in Paris 2024 lol I do hope they won't only end up as World Games champions which is a title unknown to 99.9% of Indonesian citizens
  11. The Olympic website have replays of them Dancesport for example: https://olympics.com/en/video/dance-day-1-session-2-birmingham-2022-world-games-replays-x0198
  12. The mayor of Birmingham giving me a startup CEO vibes, which is actually refreshing
  13. I’m more interested whether we can see it after the stream ends…
  14. Before it was included in National Games, there is already a cricket ground in Bali. The island is the gateway for introducing new sports to Indonesia, including kabaddi and vovinam. Unsurprisingly, at the National Games many Balinese cricket players were bought by other provinces
  15. You can try searching it with Arabic (copy it from the Wiki page of Oran 2022). There are Algerian public TV, OnTime Sports which geoblock the streams (but will be available worldwide after it ended), and “June DZ” which showed 1 hour daily recaps
  16. I found it hilarious the guy in white (I think he’s the announcer) just calmly watched the whole thing and he was like “ah shit here we go again”
  17. Just saw recording of the swimming prelims, wow that venue is better than most SEA Games swimming venues (except Singapore ofc)
  18. Lucky someone uploaded this match to Youtube. Also the match point for Turkish women’s doubles gold is in Instagram. I also found it hilarious the TRT commentator calling the players’ name as if it was a soccer match. “Fink! Bengisu! Fink! Nazlican! Fink! Bengisu! Fink! *shuttle goes out* *some Turkish winning screams*”
  19. Yeah apparently my phone is just weird.. It works normally from PC
  20. Is it just me or the website is inaccessible (from mobile)?
  21. Checking at the venues, I think they will put Israeli matches in Bali - the safe haven. If they managed to pass the group stage it will be even more “interesting” (both in achievement and organizer wise )
  22. Yea CIJM showed the non awkward way for some equality gimmick
  23. @DnlIsrael qualified to U20 World Cup in Indonesia! This is going to be “interesting”. If they put the Games in Jakarta, I would try watching it live Let’s see how many people had a stroke after hearing the news
  24. While the bidding process is not transparent (lol), Singapore has been planning it for a long time. Finland used this argument in their proposal: "There is no Super 500 event in Europe, and we want to continue showing what we're capable of after hosting the Sudirman Cup and European continental events". China actually submitted a bid for Super 500 tier too but didn't made it
  25. BWF World Tour 2023-2026 hosts announced: - Super 1000 expanded to 4 with Malaysia Open getting the slot - Super 750 expanded to 6, Singapore and India will be the new hosts - Super 500 expanded to 9, and we have 3 new hosts in here: Canada, Finland, Australia - Super 300 stays at 11, Hylo (Saarbrucken) Open and Orleans Masters upgraded to this category Good news for the players: the top player commitment stays as it is Super 100 and World Tour Finals hosts are still pending, apparently BWF set the bar too high for the Finals and no one bids for it
