  1. Well... the other countries don't bother if it's not some popular ball sports. So far the organizers are doing a good job, the official Facebook page shares all the streams available (although it's all in Khmer) and we don't have to look for sporadic streams elsewhere
  2. Obstacle Race live https://fb.watch/khrPChD7fF/?mibextid=Twhnf1
  3. Depends on the survey results lol It's either football or badminton
  4. Quite popular in bigger cities, among top 5 sports I should say. NBA is followed by a sizable population and they have an official store here.
  5. Really wanted to see live but unfortunately they were not drawn in Group G/H Will be looking forward to watch one or two matches in Jakarta
  6. To make it worse, it is unusually hot in SE Asia right now. In my place the temperature usually won't reach over 35 degrees, but for the past week it has been constantly above 36...
  7. Only football for now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dAGcRlPn3lA&pp=ygUOc2VhIGdhbWVzIDIwMjM%3D (there is also Cambodian chess on the SEA Games 2023 facebook too, but I think not much who really wanted to see that)
  8. Cricket scores: https://cricclubs.com/CambodiaCricket/viewScorecard.do?matchId=915&clubId=37563
  9. Can't wait for the ceremony, I bet it's gonna be bombastic like Myanmar 2013
  10. Meanwhile in Indonesia we just recently stopped to naturalize people without a proper rule. After taking 3 Americans and 2 Senegalese (the two boys are not even 17 years old) with no connection to this country whatsoever, our federation finally decided to find people with Indonesian descent who are playing in other Asian countries. What makes me amazed was the fact the 3 Americans ditched their US citizenship for an extremely useless passport (no dual citizenship here) if they are still planning to play in abroad, that's some incredible persuasive skill by the Indonesian association lol
  11. SEA Games will be starting tomorrow in Cambodia with football, cricket, and... Cambodian chess. The results site looks better than Vietnam 2021, but since not much data are there we can't be sure yet https://games.cambodia2023.com
  12. Should've keep their mouth shut before doing it...
  13. After the U20 World Cup fiasco, here is an update from the ANOC World Beach Games: the Indonesian NOC invited all CdM from the participating countries except the Israeli CdM for a meeting
  14. I believe @hckošice will love this
  15. Paris 2024 pictograms are tricky enough to be included in my favorite Japanese quiz show lol
  16. There is no manga of this (anime only), but there is a mobile game of this title
  17. I think Du Yue just clarified that she’s not retiring. For Yilyu I think it might be true
  18. Carolina Rieuwpassa, died on 16 March in her hometown of Makassar. She is the first Indonesian female athlete to compete in more than 1 edition of Olympic Games (1972 & 1976)
  19. Interesting, 2 cities that are not located near the Mediterranean Sea
  20. Ended plain and simple
  21. Well that’s what the protestors said… Letting Israel play = betraying Palestine and Islam. Ironically, even the de-facto ambassador of Palestine for Indonesia said that they did not reject the Israelis playing in Indonesia. So the protestors think they are “more Palestine” than the Palestinians
  22. Indonesian president issued a statement that he and his men are “looking for solutions”, while reassuring that letting the Israeli team play has nothing to do with support to Palestinians. As of now, the newly elected football federation president is on the way to FIFA HQ.
  23. The tournament already became a victim of Indonesian politics… As 2024 is election year, politicians from the ruling party (incl. the Governor of Bali) issued statements rejecting Israeli team to show their appeals to the religious groups and boost their re-election chances. This is probably the only time the ruling nationalist party and the Islamist parties have one voice in any matter…
  24. World Junior Championships 2023 is confirmed to be hosted in Spokane, Washington
