Ah, the old Cipollini* move.  Haven’t seen it done for a while.

What, you haven't seen sprinters pull out of a GC after a few wins before when mountains start appearing? :p

Very smart and deserved win for Lafay.

Kudos to Valter and his team for protecting the lead on this stage. I am pretty sure that tomorrow will be the end of this miracle, but he already carried the jersey for as long as anyone could have expected it from him.

Interesting finish coming up. Last 1,5 kilometer is on wet gravel (and still quite a steep uphill).

That was an awesome finish. Bernal is quite clearly the strongest at the moment, let's see if his back will hold up for another two weeks though. Magic Ciccone right with him, and He managed to recover twice and still move to 2nd in the GC.

As I said yesterday, this stage had to be the end for Valter in the lead, but this was still an amazing achievement from him and he still managed to stay really close to the best cyclists. Congrats to him and his team again, hopefully he will get nice high placement in the overall ranking in the end.
