Assuming :FIN or :NOR don’t want a free slot, how is the quota reallocated? World ranking?

Yes, meaning it would go to Switzerland provisionally.

DRESSAGE

Group F (2) - :RSA:MAR

Assuming RSA will get the team slot and PLE gets the individual qualification: Have the MAR and PLE riders already achieved the minimum requirements and, if not, is there a realistic chance for them?

Moroccan rider already has the requirements, while Palestine will probably end up with two eligible riders (Al-Shaer is mostly unlucky to still be unqualified, while Zimmermann has only just started his campaign...).

However, one should perhaps keep an eye on the Iranian rider. Apparently she took over the ride on former British team horse Don Carissimo, and this weekend they are scheduled to make international debut. Still, I don't really expect her to be a contender, but you never know.

:BRA Edneu Senhorini today became the first Brazilian attempting to score 66% MER since Pan Ams. He scored 60.8% and failed.

Next competition with Brazilians appearing on entry list will be Le Mans CDI3* (18-20 October).

:IRI Sohi scored 61.6% on her debut with Don Carissimo. She just lacked control on a lot of collected movements, which was to be expected.

There is more in the bag, but probably it's too late.

    • How wonderful!   I met the national rowing (and beach rowing) coach of EST/LTU/LAT on the way to ice hockey one day, who's Canadian by the way. I also flew home on the same flight as JC Schoonmaker's mom and friends, so we chatted for a bit.
    • Yea I only used transit besides this Uber / bus to the airport and back. All the venues were at the end of the line, so it allowed you to speak with other fans/volunteers etc. I even met Corrine Stoddard's mom after the first session of short track on the way back, and told her to remember our conversation if she won a medal later in the Olympics. We know how that ended up...
    • I used public transit the entire time I was in Milan.   My first day was a doozy, because I had to two flights to reach Malpensa, and then the train into town was delayed, and then I got confused a station and boarded a tram instead of the metro, proceeded to travel in the wrong direction, got off, walked back to the station, found the metro, got off a station early, walked around a kilometer to my hotel, and checked in.   My colleagues mostly took cabs upon arrival, but I deduced to take the frugal approach. That said, I was a true public transit professional by the time I left Milan.   I actually enjoyed my rides to and from venues, because I'd just chat up fans and volunteers from different countries. It helped me learn more about the city too.
