You have to try something very unusual to beat this Dutch team, unless the Dutch start riding against themselves. Luckily with Van der Breggen and Vollering they do actually have a regular team duo, but for example Van der Breggen and Van Vleuten are in no way expected to help each other

Easy to see the Netherlands is the main country in women's cycling, as our co-commentator (a cyclist) just gave us an explanation of how to bring back a lead group: "If you're pulling in the peloton and you go faster than the lead group, you will gain time."

Much earlier attack than expected by, in this case, Vollering. Assuming the plan is to be a 'springboard' for Van der Breggen.
