nothing new, as I said from the very start. bunch of lazy loosers ! not even a try to move their asses. nothing. they prefer think about their villas and money contracts than about the play. I´m not surprised, not even sad. really, they don´t deserve anything else, bunch of lazy "super stars"..

Germany ! great second period, the fighting spirit and high focusing on play, activity, skating, determination to win and achieve something. all what we are missing

Finally we seem to show our true potential, sadly it will probably be too late to make the quarterfinal, after our horrible loss against France.

What do you think about Draisaitl?

I hope that Thomas "The Berlin Wall" Greiss will join us soon, then we should be impossible to beat ... :p

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

I think it´s not over for your QF goal. The tournament is long and you have definitely a team to win the lost points back. and even if not, I expect Germany to fight for medals next year in Cologne. You have really good players, and what is much important they play like a team, I feel a true team spirit inside your team.

Well, what to say about him. so young and sooo good. :d Draisaitl is a huge world hockey talent, already a complete player.  It´s difficult to find anything wrong in his play. In fact I like him :)

btw congrats for your today fully deserved win :yes

    • I will do my best to organise a pairs competition also involving nations from the 4 teams that are eliminated in the first half of the team competition along with the lowest ranked individual nations at the halfway point (end of session 2) to form 8 pairs. Pairs will be balanced so that the highest ranked nation in the competition will be paired with the lowest ranked nation, second highest with the second lowest and so on. All of that will be based on the individual ranking at the halfway point.   This way every nation will have at least interest in some event until the end of the 3rd session.   I will probably base it closely on @mrv86‘s proposed rules, and have sprints every 3 rounds of votes. The pairs with most medals from those 3 rounds get the points along with an extra bonus for medal and points doubles.   I do only have 1 day to organise this now so I can’t promise anything though.

    • The two-woman quota is based upon the "combined" ranking. The 6 best monobob + 6 best 2-woman results are taken into account at the moment (7 once this week's WC race has been raced).  Weiszewski competed in Europe Cup yesterday in the monobob, finishing 2nd, which gave her 110 points. This was her 7th monobob race, so this result replaced her worst (80 points), helping her leapfrog Cernanska by 8 points. At this point I guess she's in a better spot, as she's got the same room for improvement in the two-woman today, while Cernanska probably won't compete that well in the WC.
