The lack of planning by AFI is clearly evident in the sense that Jinson was not sent to Europe after winning the Fed Cup while Sajeesh was sent. Renjith yesterday mentioned he did not get any opportunity to participate in Europe also no competitions for OP Jaisha and Suriya. Why the 2nd string of athletes like Sajeesh, Sini were sent instead of the best ones, we will never know.

No competitions were arranged for Naveen, at least he is expected to participate in Belgium on 9th, hopefully he gets it.

But the case of Jinson will remain a mystery since he has been consistently winning in 800m for more than a year now.

so due to non planing of AFI we may stayed at 112 (102+ 3 golfers+ 2 swimmers+ 5 relay). or may be 111, i think tintu luka is part of 4x400

    • For anyone who was involved with buying tickets for Paris 2024, can anyone comment on how LA28's process seems similar or different?  I'm hoping to get tickets so my family and I can go, and I've already found events we'd like to go to (def. won't be medal matches, as I know those will be out of our price range).   Seems like Paris had some sort of 'package' deal you had to do, but I haven't seen anything like that for LA28.   Also, re: the draw system, was it the case that whenever your time slot became available, you had access to any session?  Or were only certain sessions available?  (And, if so, were different sessions available in a later ticket drop?)   Is it the case that preliminary sessions sell out more quickly than medal sessions?  Or vice-versa?   (To anyone interested in going: AirBnBs are able to be reserved up to two years ahead of time, so starting July-August, you should be able to make reservations.)
