India 2 - 0 Bangladesh

It's very much needed result for India. We need to defeat Afghanistan to retain 3rd position which moves us into Rd3 of Asia Cup qualifiers.

Tokyo - 2020

Is the weightlifting qualification finalized? Not showing on the website.

The International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) on Saturday conformed that star Indian lifter Mirabai Chanu has qualified for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics in the women's 49kg category.

In the men's 67 kg category, India's Jeremy Lalrinnunga is ranked 12th and lost the continental quota to Korea's Hak Myeongmok, but the 18-year-old still has a chance to qualify.

The final list will be released on June 25.

The changes that are possible: Suspension of athletes and/or nations. If Colombia is banned, their 67kg quota would go to Spain.

Reallocation of unused quotas. Priority will be given to NOCs with no representation. I think there are atleast couple of such NOCs in 67kg. So, very low chance.
