This convinced me. Now I plan to watch it.

It's a good dinner movie.

This is clearly and biased article and headline, but it pretty much sums up U.S. foreign relations so...

Oh, and I’m sure we committed multiple war crimes in Afghanistan.

It is truly one of the most sad things in this World. Even courts are a political tool and either USA or Russia and/or China will make it impossible to start major processes. Someone like Putin wouldn't even have allowed ICTY. Macropolitics is such a massive hindrance to human rights and the fight against war crimes (with some few exceptions that they don't really care about).

Don't mention don't mention the war, this is now banned in the BBC because wrong or something.

Though it's not due to Don't Mention the War part, but the Major talking about people from the West Indies ;)

Not that I agree with the decision. That part had been cut before so why not do that again and leave one of the most hillarious pieces of Television alone!

Or just let people discuss it if they want. Luckily there's YouTube, for now.

So, a horrific story is unfolding in our town at the moment. A black man was found hanging from a tree in a local park this week. That’s honestly just gut-reaching without knowing the circumstances, and you can’t help but feel immediately sad for the victim and his family. I should stress that details around what happened are very much unknown so it could be anything from a suicide attempt to a purposeful lynching. Police are ruled the incident a suicide, however people were quick to point out that doing so means they can bar the media from obtaining information about the incident. That is a little weird, however understandable surrounding a normal case of suicide (which this could very well be). Because I do not know the details surrounding this incident, I’m going to keep my post at that. This is the best objective description of what’s happening in my town that I can give.
