It's not too late to remove cricket from LA28 now that we could (hopefully follow "protocol") ban India and Pakistan from competing. This conflict/war should go for a couple of years I reckon.

Yes it has. In India alone, millions were killed by medieval rulers for the sin of idol worship.

I don't necessarily mean in the last 50 years or so, but from early history all the way to right now. Millions upon millions killed in the name of Islam, Christianity or whatever, and now it's not much different: there's conflict and before people can breath, religion is thrown into the mix as one of the reasons to make things worse.

 

I'm realistic enough to know the world is never going to see full peace, but as long as any kind of religion is around, that chance is even tinier.
