Weird to watch yesterday's qualifying, but good to see Jaque have quite a decent race and Duda having a really good race, only 9 seconds behind Jaque. Even better to see Duda finish the way she did, she very clearly gave absolutely everything she had. It's a shame this is how it went, but she proved herself an impressive and worthy replacement and should be very proud of her Olympic debut!

So is it completely random when the best athletes start in this event, or do they have some rules about which bibs they can get, like in alpine skiing?
