ABC7 is also reporting that one of Gianna’s teammates and one of her parents was onboard. The fifth person is the pilot.

This is unreal.  He was my idol.  I went to so many games of his.   I was there when he scored 81 points.   I'm really speechless.  He was more then a player for us in l.a

I was on a domestic flight in Canada, the first thing anybody said when we touched down was that Kobe had just died. A bunch of us, complete strangers, started talking about him and reminiscing for a couple minutes.

 

We lost an icon today.

This is true. Anytime you threw something away, put something away, toss something, etc. you say “Kobe!” (And then you generally miss horribly because we’re not Kobe ):
