I don't know if the Italian public TV will show it to the "average audience", who don't even know what speedskating is...but, should it happen, I'm sure that our stupid social media baby-trolls would have a full day to show "their value"...:rofl::woot::facepalm:

actually it's gonna be quite dangerous* also for some "journalists", I guess...

 

*for those who don't speak Italian...let's say that the name "Mia Manganello" is a living double meaning (especially for a woman)...

 

I must confess...I'd rather pay to watch the "behind the scenes" of our TV stations...:whistle::rofl:

I guess, we have to agree to disagree on what a active nation means. I'd like just to add that most of these racers from other countries would not be there if it was not for the olympics (a good chunk of them comes from roller skating for that reason alone).

Do we really need to have this "scoreboard OBS journalist" commentating speed skating? He thinks you're slow if you are not as fast as Kodaira in the first 300m. :p

Ice resurfacing is in progress now. According to their schedule they will come back to SS after that.

      Automatic Ball Strike system comes into effect this season. Teams receive two challenges per game but only pitchers, catchers & players at-bat can use it.

      Took Day 4 to find the first not working video   Olympic channel really improved their stuff. Last time it was already Day 2 videos      Now as I know and have previous several ineractions with Olympic Channel help desk, I guess this video will be fixed around 13 months after being reported so somewhere by April 2027 you will likely be ready to watch Short Track day 1 competiton

      Maybe half of Americans, but pretty clearly zero members of the men’s team given how the past couple days have gone :/   (and none of them seemed to have any problems making their win very political and an occasion to express pretty blatant sexism)

      Yesterday at 8.40pm, what Italians call “Sanremo Holy Week” began, ending very early at around 1.20am (with controversy attached, as this is finally the last year for this presenter). It wasn't a great edition, with no big favourite singers like Mengoni in 2024 or Giorgia in 2025 (who lost!). After the first evening, it looks like it's going to be a two-horse race, but surprises are just around the corner..   Serena Brancale - Qui con Me (26% winning chances, 2nd partecipation)   Fedez (3rd partecipation, one time runner-up) & Marco Masini (9th partecipation, 2004 champion) - Male Necessario (20% winning chances)
