I am honestly getting curious, where did you get the 'Japan is almost sure to win a medal here' thing?  

 

I did have them as having a decent medal chance, but mostly because all three had an alright chance and together that meant a decent chance. Nothing too special though, I've seen bigger surprises basically every day...

 

Not trying to make myself seem like an expert btw, I also gave decent chances to Diniz and Toth after all and I hadn't even written Tomala in my list at all

never heard about canadian women race walker, so i do not see him medalling in the mixed event
