Very decent downhill training by Zampa btw, might get interesting for the combined :d

yep, well the combined can be interesting, but not very realistic.

Anyway our skiers apparently from what I read are focusing mainly for the team event, they all want so much to help to medal Veronika in her farewell race :)

everything is possible, but we have first to pass the opening round, and it may be really difficult, since it looks we have one of the strongest opponents, Germany, if we manage somehow to beat them, then everything can be possible in the later stages :)

Of course no medal is more realistic than a medal, but that downhill run does give one a bit of hope. Who knows, weird things happen in the combined and Zampa at least fighting for a top-6 or something would definitely not be the most weird thing ever :d

Should be an easy win for you, you will 100% win both races on the women's side and on the german side Neureuther and Luitz are missing and Dopfer is out of shape. Strasser should win his duel, but the other german man will have a 50% chance at best to win and even if that happens, Vlhova should be clearly ahead of her german counterpart, so Slovakia should advance based on time anyway.

Where did you find the draw/how do you know that you will probably have to compete against Germany in the opening round?

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

Don't know if it will be as easy as you think. Geiger and whoever almost beat holdener in the first round (I think it was Dürr) were looking quite good. Zuzulova might not be back at her best yet, so the only run Slovakia will almost certainly win is Vlhova's.
