Also, let me guess. This is a another big event, which Eurosport is not going to show..

Of course Dakar is not really something one can easily show live, especially in the midst of all kinds of other sports, so that'd be fine. Is Dakar still really that big? At least here it's not even close anymore to it's heydays when, you know, the Dakar went for example to Dakar. The half hour show is what they have always shown, at least of the things i remember from the last 10 years. I wouldn't expect something more. It's lost some of it's magic i'm afraid. They would never allow them to do the things that were in Africa nowadays. I still remember a view years ago, there was a rain out day and Eurosport showed archived clips from epic moments from the past. They were one of the most memorable and remarkable sporting moments i have ever seen to this day.

They were one of the most memorable and remarkable sporting moments i have ever seen to this day. The biggest part of the lost magic is the availability of information nowadays. It used to be awesome to follow the race with some obscure updates and some of the participants being gone for hours, wondering what on earth happened to them until suddenly they appeared out of the desert. It used to be sort of a 'mystery', following the race, that was cool. The few times I'm interested enough to watch, I don't generally do it on Eurosport anyway, but on Dutch RTL7 Or both, depending on what they're showing and what other plans I have If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Olympian1010 7,669 Posted January 24, 2020 #547 Share Posted January 24, 2020 24 Hours of Daytona this weekend. Smaller field than last year . Glad to see the return of competitive LMP2 racing to the US. Quite a few big names racing on Saturday and Sunday. I always find this an enjoyable race, so I might follow it a bit. Its also one of the “big” three or endurance racing (Daytona, Sebring, LeMans) Here’s the spotters guide with entry list: http://www.spotterguides.com/portfolio/20_imsa/ “Sport has the power to change the world. I believe someone raced in all 4 classes a few years ago. I’ve definitely seen people race in 3 separate cars before too. heywoodu 1 “Sport has the power to change the world.
