About today also interesting to mention that 3 big favorites had to compete in the 2nd Heats of mens C1 our Matej Beňuš, the German Sideris Tasiadis and the Brit David Florence all surprisingly struggled in 1st heat, but all without problems adanced to the semis from the second qualifying round, Matej even from 1st place with a time he would have finished 2nd in the 1st heat.

Hard luck for in the 2nd heat finishing the first 2 non qualified 11th and 12th

 

In the mixed C2 pitty for our team, which was doing very well, but then missed one gate in the finals got the 50 seconds penalty and the race was over

No final for us in M K1 and W C1 !!! Especially disappointing in the mens kayak, Jakub Grigar missed the finals, is a really bad surprise, 1 hit costed him the top 10

disaster also for Italy in Men's K1...no one of our 3 starters got even close to make the last 10...

and if we count also the very disappointing performance in the team event, this was absolutely not a good debut for Daniele Molmenti as the new head coach of our team...
