Well it wasn't the main menu music that was the problem.... do you remember the songs that played as you competed in each event? :d

Not exactly. Something like pop punk

It was awesome indeed.... I want to play it again now :d. I loved the gymnastics too.... I think I have some good placings on the worldwide list (or at least I used to) :d.

There was a guy from Spain called Hulkaran who was just unbeatable :d

Where can I find this game you're talking about @OlympicIRL? I'm interested :d

The only game I used to play was the Beijing one with Mario and Sonic, on Nintendo DS

  • 6 months later...

Did anyone play this game? i'm actually quite enjoying it, sure it have a pretty low number of events (downhill, giant slalom, slalom, super g, slopestyle, halfpipe, big air, snowboard/freestyle cross, snowboard slalom) but it's pretty fun from what it does have. Furthermore with ubisoft having this license we can hope for a proper tokyo game that didnt exist in rio

I really like Steep so I enjoyed the Olympic expansion. The slopestyle and half pipe events in particular where solid.

Big air is a bit ridiculous, I think I managed something like a quintuple cork 1620’ on my first time xD

    • There will be specialized double sculls...just not for an NOC if it is entering singles specialists.   Either enter 2 singles specialists, or 1 XD specialist pair.   But they can in theory compete in both events, I guess, if they qualify...our top M, I think, does both.   But there are 17M, 17W, and 30 Pairs allotted in the quota, so I don't think the intent is that every singles entry will be in doubles.   (Perhaps this gets to fall in line with Weightlifting, where due to max entry quota, an NOC can't enter in every event, even if they have the best athletes...here, unless you have a pair who qualifies in both.)

    • I read the Olympic qualification documents for weightlifting. A country can have the opportunity to send a maximum of 4 athletes in one gender, but the conditions are very strict.
    • world champion Jessica Schilder opened her season up with 19.78 in France.
    • wait! what???   so, there won't be specialized double sculls, but those boats would have to feature 2 single specialists if a Nation wants to enter 2 proper singles M+W??? tell me I misread the expalaination...
