Dom Rep , now all teams even in that Group. Italy favorite for 1st place now.

Then there are two possible outcomes:

 

1) Serbia looses against Dominican Republic

-> 1st place in group I goes to Domincan Republic

2) Serbia wins against Dominican Republic

-> Serbia/Italy/Dominican Republic are tied 

-> next criteria is the difference in baskets for the matches between the teams with the same number of points

-> Domincan Republic is currently at +5

-> Serbia is at -2

=> It is not possible for Italy to finish in 1st place (and avoid USA in the QF). It is possible that Italy will finish in 3rd place (if Seribia wins with less than 8 points).

So I would say...everything is possible in group I (all teams tied with 7 points)

Looks like got the win over that essentially turns the final group game into an elimination match. Here are the permutations and rankings:

Group K is simple, the winner of v will finish first while the loser will finish second.

Wow, so a win for the QF but no team can gain 1st place by their own.

Yup and with looming for second place (unless they throw their final game) things will be a bit tense. Italy/Puerto Rico will occur first so Dominican Republic/Serbia will know if they are playing for first or second in the group.

At least it is fair as DomRep an Serbia cannot both reach the finals.

And even if DomRep/Serbia will know that they will face USA in the QF it is nonetheless better than loosing in the group stage.

That's it for us. Italy vs Lithuania will play for an Olympic quota. Second quota probably goes to winner of Slovenia vs Germany.

To be honest, better for us to lose to DR and not bother with 3 more meaningless games in the WC.
