Very weird starting order in the second heat of the men's 500m, they've just thrown everything around instead of letting the fastest of heat 1 start at the end

FISU is just being weird, on the start list PDF there's a more normal order with the fastest in the last pair, the second fastest in the second-to-last pair and so on :p

Watching a bit of figure skating and the ignorance of the audience is quite remarkable. Kazakh skater performs and they are loudly cheering "Kazakhstan! Kazakhstan!"

And they also boo the scores of the home skaters, even though they had multiple falls/problems. :p

At the reception of every building in the Athlete's Village they have flags to show who is in the building, that's making this work a whole lot easier :d

Today I got this photo:

My guess is Kazakhstan's flag is in every building because it's hard to imagine both China (whose flag is missing, but there are tons of windows in the building with Chinese flags so they're there) and Kazakhstan in the same building with such large delegations :p

So if I'm seeing it right and with China added, these are the countries in Brazil's building :p

1. Brazil

2. Afghanistan

3. Argentina

4. Turkey

5. Chile

6. Azerbaijan

7. Hungary

8. Mexico

9. Uganda (the snowboarder going for the Olympics!)

10. Gambia (well, their official/officials, since they have no athletes)

11. Georgia

12. Iran

13. Lebanon

14. China

    • c'mon! stop those idiots! they're trying hard to ruin athletics in almost every aspect (road running, field events, the same cross country that has already been killed in practice)   please, someone shoot to death Coe and his accolades as soon as possible!!!
    • That's only if they don't listen to Trump's 48 hour deadline. But that is permanently 48 hours away, since, well, TACO.
    • I agree NO to Poomsae!!!   I think they plan to introduce 6 weight classes after LA instead of 8 right now, and those 6 should become Olympic instead of current 4 weights. Going forward world and Olympic ranking could be identical.    But it’s not clear if that means more quotas. Having 6 classes with 64 athletes per gender would be a joke. A reasonable taekwondo competition needs at least 16 athletes per weightclass. But I am not sure taekwondo can get another 64 quotas in total, I doubt it.    beside that I am not happy with the newly proposed weight classes, they give much more focus on light weight athletes, which will be an advantage for Asian countries mainly.    if the proposal is accepted the new weightclasses will be:    Female: 46kg, 51kg, 57kg, 63kg,70kg and +70kg    Male: 54kg, 60kg, 67kg,74kg, 82kg, +82kg
