Damn Pironkova with a shocking win  She is serving as good, as ever. Mugu looked pissed AF. She definitely didn't expect that. Next round vs. Vekic, if she plays like today, it's a winnable match.

Some French & Belgian players who are out of USO must stay in their hotel rooms for quarantine but Mannarino & Mladenovic (doubles) who are still alive in the draw are allowed to go out & practice. Seems like the quarantine rules are a tota shitshow. Kirsten Flipkens admitted she hang out with Paire already after he was diagnosed with COVID. That's downright stupid.

I just read that according ESPN Flipkens is already in JFK airport waiting for her plane  

 

Edit: Nevermind, it was fake news, she wrote on twitter that she is still in hotel.
