First-ever victory for  in a World Cup race - Blanka Vas wins in Overijse.  She obviously likes Belgium, was fourth in the Road Worlds a few weeks back.

The "Sagan-in-Skirt" Viktória Chladoňová took Women´s Junior bronze at the Cyclo-cross World Chapionship. Bronze, One would say meh, but it was the first medal from Cyclo-Cross Wch after 16 years and Peter Sagan silver in 2008 !

Well that was super easy

 

Of course the only one with a remote chance to beat him, Wout van Aert, is preparing for the road season, so yeah....it was either a normal result or a massive disappointment for him, there is no 'awesome' when you're that much of a favourite.
