Yeah, we will to a point all federations will be WA, WC, WR etc. WC and WR are even worst because they have always meant "World Cup" and "World Record" -
Also changing main global federations name is not good. Remember, under WA we now have at least World Athletics, World Aquatics and World Archery, which was first. -

Federations need to stop with this. Felt like we had more and more sports with a regular World Cup circuit, but now they're changing in to World Tour or World Series and it's all getting different names again. Just call your main series of competitions World Cup and make life easy. But sure, I'll be following these World Cup Series -
Since this announcement, the federation has changed its name to World Climbing and the World Cup bacame "Series".
