In the past we have been players born in other countries on the Italian women's waterpolo team: Araujo, Palmieri, Toth, Valkai, etc., so why not take advantage of this opportunity if it can help us? Fom mi it`s only important that were they must be good and there are many people from countries who are simply weak in this sport and might be can to play for us, either having previously played in our league or still playing. Sure, swimming brings more medals at all, but team sports always have a special status for me at the Olympics, perhaps with the exception of men`s football. If the more our teams will be in team sports at the Olympics, the better and the more excitement. For me, the Olympics without a team medal are incomplete, for example, like in 2020 in Tokyo, unlike in Paris, where there was a gold medal in women's volleyball. -

The idea of cutting the swimming length, according to the Comms.....seemingly last year with the swimming being between the super hard obstacle course and the ultra important laser run, most athletes were treating swimming as a relaxer, rather than a full on competitive event. Cutting it to 100m is designed to turn swimming back into a decisive change of positions, as it used to be. -

Its not about being fair, but how the rankings are calculated. Most teams experiment and give young players debut in bilateral series while focusing on World Cups. For example, Australia is no 3 despite not qualifying for semis in past 2 WC The only rankings which is true is Test rankings as each match is important due to Test Championships -

you're obsessed! but who cares about a team of mercenaries? the players have to be true "Italians", which means they have to have Italian blood running through their veins, they have to feel the love for the Country, they have to feel their heart bumping when the Anthem is played, they have to really want to play for us there's no need to bring here people not good enough to make their native NT, just pick and train our young girls! waterpolo isn't that complicated, just needs a strong physical preparation and being smart enough to understand the tactical situation and take the correct decisions in the pool ps and frankly, better find a swimmer capable of winning multiple medals than a winning team in a sport watched just by the players' relatives 😈
