Ok, what? I was told I was on the Winter Olympic day page, then the tennis page after I posted, now it's back to Winter Olympics.

 

Anyway,

Ya this turned out to be a leisurely farewell party for him. Which is fine, even in this form he’s still the best distance skater we currently have and I’m glad he got to say goodbye to the sport at the Olympics.

 

If this was at altitude (where he seems to be better) maybe he could have challenged for a medal. But with this ice and in this form, he was just there to make up the numbers.

Slightly off topic but with Blondin, Maltais, Dubreuil and Bloeman expected to retire, the future looks bleak.
