I watched some of the PGS in the middle of the night and the speed skating this morning. But today was a lot.
 

at least Canada didn’t lose the team bronze by one point or just miss qualifying curling by one point.

 

today was largely just scheduling though I think.

Ok this fall-off has to be studied in some way. You don't just go undefeated in the first three games only to completely throw it all away quickly.

I agree, but really their first three games were against a very young Czech team, a Norwegian team who are good but didn't have a good meet, and it seems like something was wrong with the stones the Italians were using. 

 

They were in the games against USA and even GB, but made some key mistakes. Estonia, Sweden, and Korea were just amateur. The commentators were saying the ice changed and they couldn't adjust. Maybe, but every team plays on the same ice. They couldn't make a shot, even easy shots, to save their lives the last 2 days.

 just doesn't take mixed doubles seriously enough.

 Peterman / Gallant have a great chance to make some history by beating the record for worst Olympic curling finish ever for Canada. The current record low is sixth in the women's event in 2018.
