Why you excluded all Russian? They will start in individual events for sure. This make statistics not useful

I explained that earlier on in post #37 but i repeat it.

 

I remove RUS and BLR athletes because:

 

- i live in Poland and i am defenitely pro-Ukrainian in all this mess and maybe I am biased but i think they shouldn't be able to partcipate,

 

- but THE MAIN REASON IS:

  if they are allowed to participate i simply don't understand why they can participate in one sport but they are not allowed to be in other sport. It should be more consistent. 

 

They should either allow them to participate in the olympics in all the events or ban them in everything. Olympics is one big multi-sport event. It is not a series of world championships which happen in one city in the same time. The rules should be the same for all the sports.

 

So i think that for the purpose of this simulation - and this simulation is a joke, nothing serious - it is better to disallow them to participate in all sports than add them in swimming but leave them out in athletics. 

 

Because I think when you have them in half of sports and leave them in the other half - then the statistics is even less useful than what i did here.

The other thing is - and i also explained it earlier in the other thread - Sindo is doing a great job in making an official medal table, including all the actual results with all the RUS, BLR, ISR, PLE, POL, UKR, USA, CHN and all the other NOCs of the world participating. So there is no need for me to repeat his awesome work. I must try sth different...

For me the most useful in this work is to show the possible OG schedule with the most accurate medalist including provision about RUS,BLR in different sport. But it is huge work from you, thx for this simulation and explaining the reason. For me Russian should not start in LA. As other nation who started the wars.

By the way, I already did half of this work. Each time i exclude RUS/BLR athletes I put their names in a comment on any event. So you can easily see which medals would go to the RUS/BLR athletes.

 

And after the conclusion of all the events - with all this info - it's gonna be quite easy to do a second version of the medal table with RUS/BLR athletes in it.

Dear lord, there were times we were eligible to win medals, I remember them, wonderful times it was 

 

nowadays... well, nothing just yelling (rightfully) against terrible, terrible but really terrible politicians.
