Italy won the medal standings This is a surprise to me, as it didn't look like it would happen yesterday. However, in the points standings we finished only fourth.

It should be noted that, despite dropping two places in the placing table compared to 2023, Italy scored 16.5 more points (128 to 111.5).

 

The team's performance was obviously very good, but I think it is worth pointing out that we keep struggling in the throws (a long-standing issue) and we were almost non-existent in the long-distance races. Both things could be said about the U23 championships as well.
