Absolutely awful refereeing. It is loooong time I have not seen so bad referees

and Marinčin should be benched for the rest of tournament. Catastrophic game from him

 

This was piss poor game from the guys overall, probably thinking this will go itself in dry shirt and with a finger in the nose

 

But once again, I rarely speak about referees, almost never, but today was blatant incompetence from all 4 refs. Not sure they will officiate another match here, IIHF directoriate will certainly send them home after todays shitshow

Well, we have NHL refs at the tournament so it really isn't a surprise at all

This match were half-half NHL & IIHF. But they were just BAD !

Frustrated for sure, but yep, we played poorly as well, do not hide ourself behind terrible refereeing, even if it was really awful.

 

In other hand let give also credit were it due. Jalonen is a master of tactics. Italy have huge chance with hiring him, he will bring a lot of good to Italian hockey in the future, That was just mastermind how he made their tactics today openly using our weakneses. A real hockey profesor
