Lots of misses by China throughout the match, some of which were just bad luck.  Thrilled for Danny and company.  Glad they don't have to play another game

Rich Ruohonen qualifying for the Olympics as an alternate is kind of a cool story. Old school curling guy who's been in the American scene for decades, with a ton of runner up finishes at US nationals, making his Olympic debut at 54.

 

Also very happy for my fellow Washingtonians Luc Violette and Ben Richardson.

Hats off to Norway on a great competition, but happy for our women.    (It is a little sad knowing that our win means Norway doesn't make it, as I know they've worked hard and wanted it it bad as well...but thus is sport!)
