This kind of feels like a Glorified Challenge more so than an Elite 16…

Women’s Tournament

Bronze-  Kristen Nuss/Taryn Brasher

 

Shoutout to my new favourite pairing of Hüberli/Kernen, who have backed up their silver at the Yucatán Challenge by recording a quarterfinal finish here by defeating Olympic Champions  Duda/Ana Patricia in straight sets in the round of 12 (to be fair, they looked off all event long, but the Swiss also beat Nuss/Brasher). This team definitely has what it takes to be a top 5 team and consistently contending for medals. First time watching Kernen play, all I can say is how is she that good at only 19? She’s gonna be a star in the future.

Honestly, even though  Mel/Brandie had 2 SP’s of their own in that set, good on them for coming back from down 0-6 and saving multiple SP’s  (OK, a lot of them were from missed/into the net serves but still)
