race walking is a total nonsense

in the girls' 10km :CHN Yang literally ran the last km and not a single judge gave her a warning

and that fuckin' idiot from :GBR helped her to make the break from :ITA Di Fabio and then always stayed in between them, making all the difference in the world :hairpull:

I call bullshit on the performances from this race :bones:

20.01 to 19.67 would be one thing, we all know how good Gout Gout has been hyped up to be, even though it feels like ridiculously impossible with how steep of an improvement it is… but almost everyone from the race has had ridiculous PB’s, I mean Murphy who’s a 20.41 guy at best is now 19.88. McHugh broke 21 seconds for the first time a month ago, and now he’s going 20.23.

Either an extremely fast track, wrong timing, favourable headwind, not sure what it is.

looking at the video and knowing Australia, I think the wind reading was wrong, it was surely a lot more windy than +1.7, but we all know that sometimes these things happen (you're so young, I don't know what you know about the 1988 Olympic Trials in Indianapolis and Florence Griffith Joyner records -still standing :yikes::facepalm:)
